Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen lived a remarkable life as the leading Catholic evangelist of the twentieth century. He was formed as a seminarian at The Saint Paul Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota, class of 1919, and it was here in the chapel pictured on the cover where he first was inspired to pray a daily Holy Hour in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.
This volume contains a reprint of the chapter “The Hour That Makes My Day,” from his autobiography Treasure in Clay, along with ten devotional essays on the power of the Holy Hour in the lives of those close to his alma mater, The Saint Paul Seminary. He credited his pastoral success to the power of his daily Holy Hour. May he inspire all of us to greater devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, fostering growth in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
