This volume contains a reprint of the chapter “The Hour That Makes My Day,” from Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen’s autobiography Treasure in Clay, along with ten devotional essays on the power of the Holy Hour in the lives of those close to his alma mater, The Saint Paul Seminary.
The Spirit and Life Series aims to develop the habits of heart and mind required of the well-formed human person. Anticipated topics include vocational synthesis, propaedeutic formation, devotion, art, and literature.
Despite the variety of methodologies and topics explored, the series’ aim remains constant: to provide a sustained reflection upon the human, pastoral, and spiritual formation of both clergy and laity alike.
